Below are common directions to The Whitaker Center.

From Harrisburg
From 2nd Street, turn right onto Market Street. Or from Front Street, turn left onto Market Street. Whitaker Center is located at 222 Market Street.
From York, Baltimore and Washington, D.C. (from the South) Take I-83 North to Harrisburg. Take the 2nd Street exit (exit 43) and follow 2nd Street to Market Street (4th stoplight). Turn right onto Market Street. Whitaker Center is located at 222 Market Street.

From Lancaster
Take PA 283 West to I-283 North to I-83 South. Take the 2nd Street exit (exit 43) and follow 2nd Street to Market Street (4th stoplight). Turn right onto Market Street. Whitaker Center is located at 222 Market Street.

From the East via the Pennsylvania Turnpike
Take the PA Turnpike to Harrisburg Exit 247. Take I-283 North to I-83 South. Take the 2nd Street exit (exit 43) and follow 2nd Street to Market Street (4th stoplight). Turn right onto Market Street. Whitaker Center is located at 222 Market Street.

From the West via the Pennsylvania Turnpike
Take the PA Turnpike to exit 248. Travel North on Interstate 83 through New Cumberland, PA and over the Susquehanna River on the John Harris Bridge. On interstate 83, take the 2nd street exit (exit 43). Travel North on 2nd street to Market street. Turn light (east) on to Market and travel 1 block.

For Parking
Travel east one block past the Hilton Hotel and Towers and turn left onto Court Street between the Hilton and Whitaker Center. Travel 1 full block and turn left into the Walnut Street Garage just before you get to the stop sign at Walnut and Court. Metered parking on the street is free after 5pm and on weekends and holidays.
