A Message from the Ancestors

We did not become their human commodity - their black ivory, their black gold - for you to put material things over your people, even your own families and children.
We withstood their slaughterhouse slave ships, their "seasoning" and "breaking", for you to walk in unity and live with dignity!
We did not struggle to keep our minds from being shackled, only to have you to turn away from learning and the wise ways of the elders.
We did not endure bondage, for youto become a slave to drugs and alcohol.
We did not die by the millions, for you to kill one another by the thousands.
We did not ward off their insults and claims of inferiourity, for you to hate yourself.

Karen Wallace is a 28 year-old social worker, who at the drop of a dime would put anyone else’s concerns before her own. However, after a lifetime of helping others, it seems like the end of the world for her when she receives the news that she is HIV positive. As if the news of the virus isn’t bad enough, the timing couldn’t be any worse, as the city of Harrisburg is facing one of the most controversial trials in it’s history. The Case of the Stigma Free Alliance Vs. The People’s Coalition of Health.
The stakes are high and the search for justice is underway as, human life battles it out against the epidemic of disgrace. There is twist after twist as each side unveils new evidence and information. It is a fight to the finish. Who will win? Who is right in their belief?
